File preparation

Artwork guidelines

Follow these guidelines for the sharpest, most accurate results. Not sure? Our design team can prepare files for you.

Accepted file formats

PDF, AI, EPS and SVG (vector, preferred), or high-resolution PNG and JPG. Convert all text to outlines or embed fonts.

Dimensions

Build artwork at the final print size (or to scale, e.g. 1:10). We provide templates for flags and canopies upon request.

Resolution

Raster images should be at least 100–150 DPI at full print size for large-format items. Logos should be vector whenever possible.

Bleed & safe zone

Extend background artwork at least 1" beyond the trim edge, and keep text and logos at least 2" inside the edge, pole pockets and seams.

Color

Supply files in CMYK when possible. Include Pantone references if exact brand colors matter — dye-sublimation colors can vary slightly from screens.

Proof approval

We send a digital proof for every order. Production starts only after you approve it. You can request revisions before approving.

Templates available upon request. Email info@designandprintstudios.com.
